Install your eSIM

Install your eSIM once, anytime before your trip. If you have not travelled to your destination, your data plans remain unconsumed and Ready for Use.

One eSIM install can support all destinations and data plans offered by ShopBack. If you keep your ShopBack eSIM installed on your device (without deleting it), you will never have to re-install again – simply add on data plans to your existing eSIM to get connected anywhere you travel.

Install from the app

  1. Go to Account > eSIM
  2. (If you have multiple) Select the eSIM you want to install
  3. Tap Install
  4. Follow the on-screen steps instructions

Tip: Keep the ShopBack app open and stay connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data. Installation may take a few minutes.

Important: If prompted to select your plan type, choose “Data Only.”


 

Install using QR code

Scan the QR code provided in the ShopBack app and follow the prompts to install manually. Once installed, you’re ready for the next step when you arrive.

 

Install your eSIM manually

  1. Get your eSIM details
    1. Go to the ShopBack app > Account > eSIM
    2. (If you have multiple) Select the eSIM you want to install
    3. Under eSIM details, copy the following:
      1. SM-DP+ address
      2. Activation code
  2. Configure your device
    1. On your iPhone, Open Settings > Cellular/Mobile Service
    2. Tap Add eSIM
    3. Tap Use QR Code
    4. Select Enter Details Manually
    5. Enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code
    6. Tap Next and wait for installation to complete

When prompted:

  • Choose Primary for calls and messages
  • Choose the new eSIM for mobile data
  • Turn off Allow Mobile Data Switching
