Quests are small tasks you can complete to earn extra Cashback and rewards. Quests can include:
- Referring one or more friends
- Shopping at specific stores
- Spending a certain amount of money
We update quests often to provide more ways to earn Cashback, so do keep an eye out for them!
Finding and joining quests
- In your ShopBack app, tap Quests
- Here you’ll find all the quests we currently have. Once you've found a quest you want to join, you can tap on it to see more details or tap Join to get started immediately.
- If you tap Join and see a clock icon, this means you’ve joined the quest, but it hasn't begun yet. Check the start date and make sure to come back when the quest begins, as some quests have limited spots or rewards - it pays to be fast!
- Make sure to read through the Terms and Conditions and meet all the quest requirements to qualify for your bonus rewards.
- Don't forget to complete your quest in time!
Check quest status
Your progress updates will vary depending on the quest requirements.
For quests requiring a purchase
We'll update your progress once Cashback from your purchase is tracked. This could take up to 3 days, depending on the store.
For referral quest
We'll update your progress once you and your friend (or in some cases, friends) finish all steps to successfully complete the referral.
Reward status
Once you complete a quest, your reward status will initially show as Pending. Your purchases need to be validated, and your Cashback has to be confirmed. Once your purchase and Cashback are confirmed, you can claim your reward.
Other reward statuses
You might see other statuses like:.
- All rewards claimed:
You finished the quest, but all limited rewards were claimed. - Rewards missed:
You joined the quest, but all limited rewards were claimed. - Rewards expired:
You finished the quest, but the reward expired. - Requirements not met:
You didn’t meet all the quest requirements.
Don't worry, we are constantly bringing you new quests for you to join. If you've missed this one, join and complete the next one!
Claiming rewards
There's nothing better than sweet, sweet rewards. So, once you’ve successfully completed a quest, return to that quest under the “Explore quests” tab and click “Claim.” This is the only way to release your reward! And make sure to claim your reward within 6 months otherwise it will expire.
