Things to know before you deactivate

Withdraw any remaining Cashback

We will not be able to reinstate, restore or retrieve any account information once your account is deactivated. This includes all Cashback that hasn’t been withdrawn. 

Request a Cashback withdrawal for any remaining balance if it meets the minimum withdrawal amount of 10 SGD. Keep in mind that only available and confirmed Cashback can be withdrawn. Make sure your withdrawal is completed and your Cashback is in your bank account before deactivating your account.

For ShopBack PayLater users

If you’ve been an active PayLater user, check the following:

  • You have no outstanding payments.
  • You’ve repaid all late payment fees.
  • There aren’t any outstanding disputes between you and ShopBack PayLater.
  • There aren’t any outstanding disputes between you and a store.
  • There aren’t any ongoing refunds or reversals for your purchases.
  • There aren’t any ongoing investigations of your orders or instalments.

Please note that if you have provided identification data to ShopBack or hoolah, your data will be kept for 2 years after account deletion for regulatory, compliance and auditing purposes and this data will be retained to the extent required by law. During this period, you will not be able to use the identification data to create another ShopBack account.

 

If none of the above applies to you, you can go ahead and deactivate your account with ease.

How to deactivate your account

For appFor web
  1. While logged into your account, go to Account → Login and security → Delete my account.
  2. Once you’ve read through all the important information, tap Send deletion request.
